As an affiliate member, TraceLink brings serialization expertise to the Pharma & Biopharma Outsourcing Association.
The Pharma & Biopharma Outsourcing Association (PBOA) announced that TraceLink has joined the PBOA as an affiliate member. Affiliate companies provide services and goods that benefit both the PBOA's members and their client companies.
"We're happy to have TraceLink aboard as an affiliate member of the Pharma & Biopharma Outsourcing Association," said Gil Roth, president of the PBOA. "As the CMO/CDMO sector has grown in importance and new serialization regulations roll out in different countries, it's critical that our member companies stay on top of the technologies and services available to assure the safety of the drug supply chain. Bringing TraceLink into the conversation with CMOs will only help advance that cause."
"TraceLink is very excited to join the Pharma & Biopharma Outsourcing Association," said Brian Daleiden, vice president of industry marketing at TraceLink. "The CMO/CDMO sector has become a strategically important part of the life sciences supply network. As a result, outsourced supply partners now face significant challenges in meeting diverse pharmaceutical customer requirements, ensuring quality and performance in external supply operations and preparing for continuously evolving global serialization regulations. We’re pleased to work with PBOA and its membership to develop solutions for these key issues."
PBOA is a nonprofit trade association dedicated to advancing the regulatory, legislative and general business interests of contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs) and contract development and manufacturing organizations (CDMOs).
The TraceLink Life Sciences Cloud is used by businesses to meet strategic goals in ensuring global track-and-trace compliance, fighting drug counterfeiting, improving delivery, protecting product quality, and reducing operational cost, the company reports.
