Syngene Announces Senior Level Appointments

Syngene International announced the appointment of two senior level positions. Alex Del Priore will serve as the senior vice president of Manufacturing Services, while Alan Collis will become the vice president of Integrated Drug Services. Both Del Priore and Collis are based out of the United States, an area the company has identified as a key market.

Del Priore has spent two decades in development, commercialization, and life-cycle management of products in the life sciences market. As a member of the executive committee, he will provide strategic insight into the growth of the company’s manufacturing services businesses. He will manage API growth outcomes concerning their Mangalore facility as well as the company’s large-molecule operations.

Collis is a drug discovery and development scientist specializing in discovery, preclinical, and early clinical studies who has led 33 novel small molecules into preclinical evaluation. He will oversee formulation and operation of Syngene’s integrated drug discovery plan at Synvent, the company’s platform for integrated discovery and early development of novel molecules.
