Keynote speakers for ISPE’s 2017 Annual Meeting & Expo include representatives from AstraZeneca and GSK.

On Sep. 21, 2017, the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) announced the keynote speakers for its 2017 Annual Meeting & Expo taking place in San Diego, CA, from Oct. 29 – Nov. 1, 2017. The keynote speeches will consist of global pharmaceutical industry leaders offering informative presentations covering the product lifecycle.

The ISPE keynote speakers include:

  • Pam P. Cheng, executive vice president of global operations and IT for AstraZeneca; her presentation focus will be on manufacturing operations and specific aspects of the process.

  • Roger Connor, president of global manufacturing and supply for GlaxoSmithKline; his presentation will explore how industries outside the pharmaceutical industry can influence its manufacturing approach.

  • Enno de Boer, PhD, partner and leader of digital manufacturing North America for McKinsey & Company, an international management consulting firm, in addition to global leader for McKinsey’s digital capability center; his presentation will discuss digital manufacturing and its future influence.

  • Glenn F. Pierce, a member of the board of directors of the World Federation of Hemophilia and an independent consultant, entrepreneur-in-residence at Third Rock Ventures; his presentation will concentrate on innovations and consequences related to hemophilia treatments.
