The companies will collaborate on two CSCS supply chain security studies.
The Center for Supply Chain Studies (CSCS) announced on April 11, 2016 that it has formed a business alliance with Gordian Knot Analytics Group, a Philadelphia-based analytics company. According to a press announcement from CSCS, the alliance was formed with the goal of providing an analysis of the business processes and challenges impacting today’s healthcare supply chain.
The collaboration will begin with two CSCS studies, Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) in the Hospital and Unique Device Identification (UDI) in the Hospital. The studies will collaborate with a number of hospitals, suppliers, and solution providers to examine the benefits of DSCSA and UDI data to track pharmaceuticals and medical devices in the hospital setting.
