The decision was made in order to give exhibitors enough time to adjust their plans in the wake of the continuing spread of COVID-19.

CPhI North America, organized by Informa Markets, announced on June 19, 2020 that the CPhI event, which was originally scheduled for Sept.9–11, 2020 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia, PA, will be canceled. The decision was made in order to give exhibitors enough time to adjust their plans in the wake of the continuing spread of COVID-19, an Informa press release said.

“This conclusion was not one that was reached easily, but with the health and safety of our community in mind, we have made the proactive decision to act now,” the press release said. “We understand how important CPhI North America is to the industry and how much effort goes into preparing for it and so, in this difficult time, we would like to thank our community for its understanding and support.”

CPhI also announced it will host a series of webinars in place of the in-person show.

“While our live event has been cancelled, learning never stops,” the press release said. “We have a series of webinars on trending topics coming up soon, and we’ll keep you posted on the details as we finalize them.”
