CPhI North America and InformEx Partner with Mercy Ships

The conference has partnered with Mercy Ships, a non-profit organization using hospital ships to deliver health care to developing nations.

On April 6, 2016 CPhI North America and InformEx announced that they have partnered with the non-profit organization Mercy Ships for the 2017 show. For every customer insight survey submitted at CPhI North America from May 16–18, 2017 in Philadelphia, PA CPhI will donate to the non-profit.

"The health care industry has a long history of generosity supporting the mission of Mercy Ships throughout our organization's 38-year history," said Russ Holmes, director of development/corporate relations for Mercy Ships, in a statement. "And through this partnership with CPhI North America and InformEx, we seek to involve the pharmaceutical and specialty chemicals industries in helping us to bring hope and healing."

Mercy Ships is an international organization that operates hospital ships to developing nations. Mercy Ships works with host nations to strengthen the local health care delivery system while serving the surgical needs of the host country. The ship has a crew of 1000 volunteers from up to 40 nations on board annually.
