Pharma industry event in Mumbai will host 40,000 visitors on Nov. 17-23.
More than 40,000 pharma industry representatives are expected to attend CPhI India, scheduled for Nov. 17-23, 2016 in Mumbai. The event, now in its 10th year, includes P-MEC India and the first CPhI India Pharma Week. The exhibits, hosted at two venues simultaneously-the Bombay Exhibition Centre and at the MMRDA Grounds-will feature more than 1,200 exhibitors from more than 100 countries.
The first CPhI India Pharma Week will cover the themes of business, knowledge, leadership, innovation, recognition and networking, according to CPhI EMEA, the show organizers. The Pre-Connect Congress offers a knowledge-sharing platform featuring discussions, industry analysis, and interactive sessions. In addition, CPhI and P-MEC India will launch the CPhI Pharma Insights Report: India, covering the current market and future prospects for the pharma economy in the next 3–5 years. Other activities include the CPhI Women in Pharma Power Breakfast, a CEO roundtable, plant visits, and the UBM India Pharma Awards.
Additional features in 2016 include the CPhI Exhibitor Showcase, which allows exhibiting companies to present their products, services and new launches in 45-minute slots; the CPhI Innovation Gallery provides the opportunity for companies to showcase their innovations on an international platform in the Pharma Forum; a mobile app to help users access the exhibitor list, navigate floor plans, and connect with social media updates; and CPhI TV, which features interviews from the top companies on the show floor, broadcast during the event and online on the website
