Broadley-James Expands Distribution of Distek’s Benchtop Controllers in UK and Ireland
Under the expanded distribution service, Distek’s BIOne Benchtop Controllers will now be made available across the UK and Ireland.

US-based Distek, a manufacturer of laboratory testing instruments, announced on Jan. 28, 2025 that Broadley-James, a UK-headquartered supplier of pH and dissolved oxygen sensors for life science applications, is now distributing Distek's BIOne Benchtop Controllers across the United Kingdom and Ireland. This expansion builds on a partnership the two companies began in 2017 in which they introduced the BIOne Single-Use Bioreactor (2 L) for mammalian cell culture (1).
Distek’s portfolio has since expanded, and continues to expand, now featuring a comprehensive range of benchtop bioreactor solutions including:
- BIOne 250 Bioprocess Control for microbial applications
- BIOne 1250 Bioprocess Control for mammalian and microbial applications
- BIOne Single-Use Bioreactors for cell culture and cell-free applications
- BIOne Single-Use Fermenters for a variety of microbial applications
The offering of a complete portfolio such as this enables researchers and scientists in the UK and Ireland to access Distek’s bioprocessing solutions, which provide flexibility and are user-friendly. These bioprocessing solutions are applicable to both mammalian and microbial operations (1).
