Self-Contained Laboratory Homogenizer Prepares Injectable Drugs

Article

GEA's self-contained homogenizer is designed for laboratory applications, including cell dispersions.

GEA's Pony NS2006L is a self-contained, high-pressure laboratory homogenizer for product development of advanced fluid applications, including nanoparticles, nanodispersions, nanoemulsions, and cell dispersions. The homogenizers can reduce particle sizes down to nanometer range for the preparation of injectable drugs.

The homogenizer is designed for continuous operation up to 1500 bar. The sanitary design is suited for clean-in-place and sterilization-in-place. The Pony NS2006L achieves the same results as larger size homogenizers, and its compact design allows easy installation with simple operation and quick maintenance. It is also suitable for viscous products.
