Scott Monroe, MD, has accepted the position of director of the Division of Reproductive and Urologic Products (DRUP) at the US Food and Drug Administration. Monroe has been serving as the acting director for DRUP since June of 2006. He joined the FDA in 2000 as a medical officer in DRUP. Monroe was promoted to medical team leader in 2002, deputy division director in 2005, and acting division director in 2006.
