Waters Synapt High Definition MS System from Waters Corporation (www.waters.com) is designed for researchers working at the limits of conventional mass spectrometry and who need to further characterize and define complex samples. The Synapt HDMS system employs new ion-mobility technology and software to enable the analysis of sample ions differentiated by size, shape, and molecular mass. A key feature of this system is the patented Waters Triwave technology, a methodology for combining ion-mobility based measurement and separations with high-sensitivity performance, and mass quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry.
