The 2018 Short Course program at Pittcon, taking place Feb. 24–Mar. 1, will feature 23 new short courses geared towards laboratory professionals.
On Jan. 9, 2018, the Pittcon Short Course Committee announced the 2018 Short Course program being held Feb. 24–Mar. 1, 2018. The program has added 23 new courses for laboratory professionals.
Program offerings include more than 100 half-day to two-day courses at beginner and intermediate levels. Courses are taught by industry experts and cover a range of analytical topics including pharmaceutical, environmental, life science, and more. Additionally, comprehensive application and general lab function courses are available, and include lab management, data management, lab safety, and technical writing.
Topics covered by the 23 new courses added to this year’s program include sample preparation, advanced techniques in high-performance liquid chromatography, laboratory information management systems, scientific writing, and liquid handling. New course titles include:
Pittcon 2018 will be held Feb. 26 –Mar. 1 in Orlando, FL, at the Orange County Convention Center.
