Gerresheimer has announced it will be expanding its ClearJect product line of pre-fillable syringes with a new 2.25-mL cyclic olefin polymer (COP) staked in needle (SIN) syringe.
German-based Gerresheimer has announced it will be expanding its ClearJect product line of pre-fillable syringes with a new 2.25-mL cyclic olefin polymer (COP) staked in needle (SIN) syringe, which will be produced in Pfreimd, Germany along with the 1-mL version.
COP is a high-performance polymer, which means that the new pre-fillable syringe, the Gx RTF ClearJect 2.25-mL syringe, is suitable for use as primary packaging for biopharmaceutical products. Additionally, as the polymer is considered to be well resistant to breakages, the syringes are suitable for use with aggressive or toxic products.
The range of COP syringes from Gerresheimer are designed to ISO 11040-6 standard and have been registered. Furthermore, the syringes have been engineered to also be used in autoinjectors.
More information on the Gx RTF ClearJect range of pre-fillable syringes is available on the company’s website.
