The award is presented to a C-suite executive who demonstrates leadership skills to drive forward their organization, increase performance, and engage staff and customers, while remaining committed to the development of the pharma industry, a company press release said. Throughout 2020, Sheng headed the expansion of Bora Pharmaceuticals from Asia into the United States and helped the company meet its international growth goals despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the press release said.

“Winning such a prestigious award is an incredible acknowledgement not just of me, but of the work, values, and expertise of the whole team at Bora Pharmaceuticals,” Sheng said in the press release. “I am incredibly proud of the growth we have achieved thanks to the excellent customer service, technical agility, and niche capabilities that the team at Bora provide to our customers across North America, Asia, and Europe.”
