Wyeth (Madison, NJ) has elected Bernard Poussot president and chief executive officer (CEO), effective January 1, 2008.

Wyeth (Madison, NJ) has elected Bernard Poussot president and chief executive officer (CEO), effective January 1, 2008. Poussot began his career at Wyeth in 1986. In April 2006, Poussot was promoted to president and vice chairman of Wyeth, and in January 2007, he was promoted to president, chief operating officer, and vice chairman. Robert Essner, current chairman and CEO, will continue as chairman of the board of directors after his term as CEO ends at the end of 2007.
